EU ICT residence permit and “conversion” into an EU Blue Card

Italian immigration law provides for the possibility for holders of an intra-company visa and residence permit ex Article 27 quinquies of Legislative Decree 286/98 (so called “EU ICT”) to be hired by an Italian company by applying, while they are in Italy with the EU ICT, for an EU Blue Card ex art. 27 quarter Legislative Decree 286/98.
